Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Compliance

Cinemaa respects intellectual property rights and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. We take copyright infringement seriously and will respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown notices.

Our platform operates as a streaming service. We provide metadata, descriptions, and player interfaces for movies and TV shows. The actual video content is delivered through third-party player sources that we do not control or host directly.

Important: If you believe copyrighted content is being made available through our platform, please contact the third-party player source directly, as we do not control or host the actual video content. However, if you believe our metadata, images, or descriptions infringe your copyright, please follow the procedure below.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following information:

  1. Physical or Electronic Signature: A signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of Copyrighted Work: A description or link to the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
  3. Identification of Infringing Material: The specific URL(s) or location of the material on our site that you claim is infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it
  4. Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. Accuracy Statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

Please send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent at the contact information provided below. We will respond to valid notices within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 5-7 business days.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you posted on our platform was removed or disabled by mistake, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court and will accept service of process from the complaining party

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If we do not receive notice within 10 business days that the complainant is seeking a court order, we may restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Cinemaa will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and access to our service for users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

Third-Party Content

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or player sources. We do not control or host the actual video content provided by these third parties. If you have concerns about copyrighted content available through third-party player sources, please contact those services directly.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or copyright compliance of third-party services that may be accessed through our platform.
